A Bit About Me

Welcome to my online space! I'm Karen De Moor, a registered therapist based in the Netherlands, and I'm here to share a bit about myself and my journey in the world of therapy.

My Professional Background

I started my business as a therapist in 2018, driven by a deep passion for helping individuals navigate the complexities of life and mental well-being. 

I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and self-discovery. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to support my clients in their unique journeys. I draw from various therapeutic modalities, such as Trauma Therapy, CBT, NLP, EFT, EMDR, Trauma Energetics and many more, to create a tailored and holistic treatment plan that suits each client's needs.

In our therapy sessions, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space where you can freely express your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Together, we will work collaboratively to explore your goals, identify obstacles, and develop strategies to overcome them. My goal is to empower you to make meaningful changes in your life and enhance your overall well-being.

Trauma

Trauma can leave deep emotional and physical imprints, often affecting how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. Whether you've experienced a single distressing event or prolonged stress over time, healing is possible. In my work, I approach trauma with great care and sensitivity, combining evidence-based methods like EMDR and Trauma Therapy with a grounded, holistic perspective. Together, we will gently explore your experiences, build safety and trust, and work toward restoring your sense of strength, connection, and inner peace.
